Elizabeth Davidson

Monday, July 10, 2006 Mrs. Elizabeth Davidson, age 89 of Calhoun died at 4:30 AM, Sunday, July 09, 2006 in Gordon health Care following an extended illness. Elizabeth was born in Gordon County, February 24, 1917, daughter of the late Mark E. Hardy and Stella French Hardy. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clayton Davidson, and two sisters, Evelyn Borders and Carolyn Harlan. She had spent part of her early life in Gordon County and lived later in the Maryville and Alcoa, Tennessee area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Calhoun and was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Alcoa. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Davidson of Calhoun and Mark Davidson of Maryville; two grandchildren, Josh Davidson and Bethany Davidson. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 PM, Monday, July 10 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. John Bledsoe officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, July 12 at the Grandview Cemetery near Maryville, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:30 PM Monday at the funeral home preceding the funeral. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of arrangements for the services of Elizabeth H. Davidson.
