Edwin Sharon McEntyre

Edwin Sharon McEntyre, age 72 of Calhoun, passed away on November 1, 2012 in Gordon Health Care. Edwin was born on November 29, 1939 in Gordon County. He was the son of the late Harold Edwin McEntyre and Janie Wright McEntyre. Edwin previously resided at his long-time residence on Old Calhoun Road in Plainville and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Plainville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his sister, Janeane McEntyre Garlin; brother-in-law, J.B. Garlin; and nephew, Kirk Bradley Garlin. Survivors include: his son, Richard Sharon “Rick” McEntyre of Marietta, GA; his twin brother, Harold Baron McEntyre; sister-in-law, Barbara Copeland McEntyre; niece Kimberly McEntyre Rogers of Calhoun; great-nephew, Brandon Alexander Rogers of Boston, MA. Graveside Services will be conducted at 2pm on Sunday, November 4th in Scott Cemetery with Richard McEntyre speaking.
