Edna Fallis

Thursday, August 17, 2006 Mrs. Edna Patterson Fallis, age 96, of 113 Victory Drive, Calhoun, died Wednesday August 16th. in the Gordon Hospital following several months of declining health. Mrs. Fallis was born in Floyd County, Ga. on Sept. 3, 1909 daughter of the late Walter and Fannie Lou Boston Patterson but had spent the greater part of her life in Gordon County. She was a member of the Calhoun First United Methodist Church was a homemaker. In addition to he parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Fallis in 1967, four brothers; Griff, Hugh, Vernon and Fred Patterson.. Survivors include one son; Bob Fallis of Dalton, one daughter and son-in-law; Brenda and Ron Pulis of Florence , S.C., a grandson and his wife Kevin and Stephanie Pulis, and special caregivers;Matha Smith, Dottie Dutton and Frances Fowler. . Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday August 19th. from the chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Roy Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Bobby Woodring, David, Dwight,and Paul Patterson and they are asked to meet at the funeral home at 2:30 P.M. Saturday. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. on Friday August 18th. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Edna Patterson Fallis.
