Edna Pack Cochran

Monday, February 12, 2007 Mrs. Edna C. Pack Cochran, age 85 of Calhoun died at 6:45 PM, Sunday, February 11, 2007 in Gordon Health Care of Calhoun following an extended illness. She was born, November 13, 1921 in Bartow County, daughter of the late Grover Lee Cantrell and Mary Lewis Cantrell. Edna was a L.P.N. and a homemaker. She was a member of the Calhoun First United Methodist Church and was the Past Worthy Matron of the Sonora Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William “Josh” Pack, a son, Glenn Pack, three brothers, C.H., Taylor, and Rembert Cantrell. Surviving are three sons; Larry Pack and his wife Betty of Eustis, Fl., Garry Pack and his wife Yolanda of Rio Linda, Ca., and David Pack and his wife Joyce of Calhoun. Grandchildren; Lynne and Lee Vick and Tony Pack of Rome, Jennifer and Roger Edwards and Josh Pack of Ringgold, Andrea and Ernie Solano and Justin Pack of Rio Linda, Ca., Brandy and Dana Pack of Atlanta. Great-Grandchildren; Lynlee and Alexandra Vick, Jacob Edwards, and Zachary, Caleb and Noah Solano. Special friends; Ann Stephens and Aneece Whitfield. Along with a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday February 15th at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Dr. Brian Clark and Rev. Clay Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be, Lee Vick, Roger Edwards, Tony and Josh Pack.
