Dustin Reeves Shepherd

Dustin Reeves Shepherd, age 38 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, June 28^th at AdventHealth Gordon.

Dustin was born on March 15, 1985, in Rome, Georgia to Gary Shepherd and Leah Ann Reeves Shepherd. Before his disability he was employed by Coca-Cola. Dustin loved the outdoors, especially finding a secluded spot to write, loved reading books, and was an avid knife collector. He is preceded in death by a nephew, Brieson Smith.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by siblings, Scarlet Shepherd, and Gary Shepherd, Jr. “Tiger”; grandmother, Ann Reeves Lynch; stepmom, Trish Amos; nephews, Kaiman Smith, and Kaidan Smith; nieces, Shia Smith, Brennan Shepherd, and Coraline Shepherd; cousin, Jason Reeves; brother-in-law, Jason Turner.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, July 1^st at 11 AM at Chandler Cemetery with Reverend Roy Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 1^st from 10 AM until 11 AM at Thomas Funeral Home.
