Douglas Keith Woody

Douglas Keith Woody, age 63, of Calhoun, passed away Thursday August 26th at Advent Health Gordon.

Douglas was born October 23, 1957, in Fairmount, GA., son of the late Allen Woody and Jane Foster Woody. In addition to his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Celia and Michael Mullinax and a special cousin, Brenda Price.

He was a member of the 1977 graduating class of Fairmount High School and was a member of the Eastgate Baptist Church. Douglas loved the Lord; enjoyed going to church, listening to gospel music and watching the Atlanta Braves.

He is survived by several cousins, Debra Brannon and her husband Jeff, Scottie Knight and her husband Jimmy, Peggy Craig and her husband Charles, Charles Foster Jr .and his wife Kim and other cousins.

Private Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday August 31st at 11am in the Pleasant Grove/Ryo Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Rogers officiating.
