Dorothy Faye Parker Gallman, age 82 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at her residence.
Dorothy was born on July 27, 1933 in Gordon County to the late John Robert Parker and Ola Junkins Parker. She was a member of College Street Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Waymon Cronan; her first husband, Raymond Cronan; four brothers, J.R. Parker, Bobby Parker, Julian Parker and Eugene Parker; and five sisters, Geneva Silvers, Bessie Abercombie, Pauline Silvers, Mildred Silvers and Mary Jo Woody.
She is survived by her son, Travis Glenn Cronan of Ringgold; two daughters, Janice Ann West of Calhoun, and Teresa Silvers and her husband Harold of Sonoraville; one brother, Herbert Parker; five grandchildren, Keisha Jennings, Lisa Morrison, Jason Jaco and his wife Sandy, Josh Jaco and special grandson, Jeremy Rogers; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, May 26th at 2:00 PM at Thomas Funeral Home with Johnnie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Church of God Cemetery with Josh Jaco, Ricky Silvers, Randall Woody, Matt Smith, Bobby Parker, Willard Parker and Parker McBurnett.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
