Dorothy "Dot" Loftin

Thursday, January 21, 2010 Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Loftin 83 of the Alabama Hwy S.W., Rome, Ga. died at 12:30 A.M. January 20th. at the Redmond Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Loftin was preceded in death by her husband “Shorty” Owen Loftin in 1969, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by three children; Sandra Loftin Evers (Billy) of Douglasville, Ga. , a son Donald Loftin of Rome and Becky Loftin Wallin (Ralph) of Rome, one sister; Clara Pack of Gadsden, Al, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren , and one great-greatgrandchild and other family members. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday Jan. 22, from the Rome Church of Christ with David O’Connell of Rogersville, Al and Brooks Boyd of Rome officiating. Interment will follow in the the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Church from 11:00 until the funeral hour on Friday January 22nd.
