Doris Rickett Proctor

Doris Rickett Proctor, age 75, of Calhoun, passed away Friday December 25th at her residence. Doris was born in Chattooga County on February 28, 1940. Daughter of the late Helen Norton. Prior to her retirement she had worked for O’Jay Mills and Beaulieu of America. Doris was a member of the Echota Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons; Jackie Proctor, Gary Proctor and his wife Tina and Jeffery Proctor and his wife Tiffany, one daughter; Nancy Proctor all of Calhoun. One brother; Jimmy Rickett of Summerville, five grandchildren; Chris Proctor, Taylor Proctor, Ali Proctor, Nick Proctor, and Gabe Proctor. Her uncle; Jerry Rickett and her aunt; Lelia Williams both of Summerville also survive. A service to celebrate the Life of Doris Rickett Proctor will be conducted Saturday January 2th at 4pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Stacy Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4pm Saturday January 2nd at the funeral home.
