Doris Brewer Daniel

Doris Brewer Daniel, age 81 of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Etowah Landing Care and Rehabilitation of Rome, GA. Doris was born on April 4, 1938 in Heard County, GA to the late Taylor Harrison Brewer and Virginia Allen Brewer. In addition to her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil Kerry Brewer and Grover Lee Brewer. Doris attended Northside Church of Christ, and prior to her retirement, she worked for Mohawk Industries for over 17 years. Doris is survived by: her three sons, James Wesley Daniel of Calhoun, Tony Lemoyne Daniel of Calhoun, and Richard Scott Daniel of Plainville; her twin sister, Dorothy Kirby of Roanoke, AL; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 17th at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Minister Kent Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving are: Ron Hall, Bryan Kirby, Eddie Jones, Hank Chitwood, and Bobby Hall.
