Doralee Klein, 89, of Loudon, TN, formerly of Calhoun, GA, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021.
She loved her husband dearly and was dedicated to her family. She was an exceptional pastor’s wife and church secretary. She was an earnest prayer warrior and bible student. Doralee enjoyed being with family. Doralee was a wonderful cook and many of her recipes have been passed down throughout generations. She loved playing piano and organ. During her free time, she loved reading, which she had a passion for.
Preceded in death by her parents, Wilber and Dorothy Griffith; sister, Verna Hadley.
Survivors include her loving husband, age 93 married for 69 wonderful years, Alvin Klein; children and spouses, Theresa Klein and Larry Doran, Eddie and Debbie Klein, Kay Klein and Barry Mann, Lorinda “Lori” Klein and Myron Mills; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Birdie Burnside; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilber and Carole Griffith and Dale and Rosalie Griffith; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1411 Rome Rd SW, Calhoun, GA 30701.
Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service at the church.
Family and friends will assemble at Gordon Memorial Gardens, 575 Hwy 53, Calhoun, GA 30701, Monday, November 22nd, for the 1:00 p.m. committal service.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Georgia-Cumberland Academy Worthy Student Fund in memory of Doralee Klein, 397 Academy Dr. SW, Calhoun, GA 30701.
