Donnie Howard Thomas

Donnie Howard Thomas, formerly of Resaca, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Brickmont Assisted Living in Acworth after months of declining health.

Donnie was born July 23, 1947, to the late Howard and Frances Thomas. Donnie was a member of the Calhoun Church of Christ. He loved to spend time with his family and travel. He was preceded in death by his wife Julie Griffith Thomas

He is survived by his daughters Darla Thomas McEntyre (Stan) of Acworth, Sydney Thomas Sills (Stephen) of Duluth and Lyndsey Thomas Blackwell (Jeremiah) of Powder Springs; and his grandchildren, Marah McEntyre Hardie (Sam) of Marietta and Andrew McEntyre of Dallas Texas.

A memorial service to celebrate his life is planned for Monday, December 20th at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 20th at 12 PM until the funeral hour.
