Donna Yancey Heath, age 58 of White, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at Redmond Park Hospital in Rome after a short illness. Mrs. Heath was born in Rome, April 1, 1962 to Sara and Ronny Yancey of White, Georgia.
She was a member of White United Methodist Church and was employed at First Franklin Financial in Cartersville, Georgia.
Mrs. Heath was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Day, a nephew, Davey Grant; maternal grandparents, Lamar and Alene Cornwell and paternal grandparents, Jack and Effie Yancey all of White.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Andy Heath; sons, Josh (Celisa) Heath of Woodstock, and Austin (Payge) Heath of White; parents, Sara and Ronny Yancey; grandchildren, Ethan Heath of Florida, Gavin Heath of Cartersville, Georgia and Tristan Scoggins of Woodstock; brother, Craig (Aryelle) Yancey of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; a niece, Stormey Day of White, and nephew Brett Bramlett of Fairmount, Georgia. One great niece and several great nephews also survive to cherish her memories.
A celebration of Donna’s life and interment will be held at White UMC Cemetery on Richards Road at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 6, 2020 with Rev. Scott Shepherd and Rev. Bill Lowry. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 5,2020 from 4:00-7:00 pm at White United Methodist Church, 3411 Hwy 411, White, Georgia. Serving as pallbearers will be, Austin Heath, Josh Heath, Cooper Fleming, Gary Abernathy, Cody Heath, Allen Dalrymple and Charlie Scoggins.
All CDC Covid-19 guidelines will be followed. The family ask that everyone wear a mask.
