Dianne Shaw Coates

Dianne Shaw Coates, age 56 of Adairsville, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at her residence. Dianne was born on March 7, 1964 in Floyd County, GA, daughter of Laverne Young Shaw and the late Jackie Shaw. In addition to her father, Dianne was also preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Medlin. Dianne is survived by: her husband, Fred Anthony Coates of Adairsville; daughter, Heather Guillen and her husband Miguel of Calhoun; two sons, Roy Medlin and his wife Ashley of Calhoun, and Robert Jefferson Jones, III of Calhoun; mother, Laverne Young Shaw; four grandchildren, Starlin Medlin, Alex Medlin, Willow Medlin, and Gavin Guillen; two sisters, Patty McNabb of Calhoun, and Angela Bricker of Calhoun; and brother, Wesley Shaw and his wife Laura of Pensacola, FL. A celebration of the life of Dianne will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 PM until the funeral hour at 1 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
