Denna Ann Jordan

Monday, October 20, 2008 Ms. Denna Ann Jordan, age 54 of, Resaca, Ga. died Sunday October 19th at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tn. Denna was born in Chattanooga on October 24, 1953 daughter of the late Adrian Gilchris and Ozelle Maude Causby Jordan. She had spent her entire life in Gordon County and Worked for the Shaw Industries Plant # 52 for 24 years. She was a member of the Pine Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her brother, Rick Jordan and his wife Linda of Atlanta. Nephew, Jonathan Jordan of Atlanta. Aunts and Uncles, Mr. and Mrs. O. S. Brackett of Resaca, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Causby,of Centre, Al., Mr. and Mrs. F.C. Causby, and Robbie Causby all of the Nicklesville, Ga. A special friend, Laurence Mauldin also survives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday October 22nd at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Jack Buckley officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Phillips in charge of graveside rites. Pallbearers serving include, Jerry Quinn, Jonathan Moss, Stephen Causby, Drew Grant, Dusty Causby, Jonathan Jordan, and Roger Stover. Dana’s co-workers at Shaw Plant #52 will serve as honorary escorts.
