Mr. Delane "Bruce" West

Mr. Delane “Bruce” West, age 60, of Calhoun, Ga., passed away on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 at his residence.

Bruce was born in Gordon County, Ga., on May 24th, 1964 was preceded in death by his mother, the late Vera Mae Thomas McEntyre. Bruce had previously been employed in the maintenance department at Mohawk Industries.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanita West; his three children, Brandon (Heather), Chad (Jennifer), and Jessica West; step-grandchildren, Blake, Chandler, and Chloe; father, Charles George West; brother, Blake and Austin; sister, Renva; grandchildren, Hannah West, Levi West, Justin West, Coleman Elrod, and Cannan Elrod. As well as two special aunts, Judy Black and Peggy Fowler.

Services to Celebrate Bruce's life will be conducted Sunday, March 23rd at 3 pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Berghorst officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
