Debra Darlene “Duck-Duck” Baldwin, age 48 of Calhoun died Monday, September 9th at her residence.
She was born, February 19, 1965 in Gordon County, daughter of the late Wallace F. “Footsie” Baldwin and the former Viola E. Parker. She was a lifetime resident of Gordon County and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church near the Oostanaula Community.
Debra is survived by one brother, Tony Baldwin of Harlan County, Kentucky; sisters, Betty Ann Bryant of Calhoun, Brenda Sue Waddell, and Winnie Baldwin both of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 12 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Quarrels officiating. Burial will be in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery of the Oostanaula Community. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Billy and Michael Howard, Tommy Briem, Heath Hufstetler, Donald Chastain, and Tracy Waddell. They are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:45 AM, Thursday.
