Deborah “Debo” Gallman Parker, age 56, of Calhoun, passed away Monday June 3rd in Gordon Hospital. Deborah was born July 7, 1956 in Gordon County, daughter of Harold Lee Gallman and the late Vennie Mae Bagley Gallman, she was a lifelong resident of Gordon County and was employed by Kroger. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol Lynn Gallman. Survivors include her husband, Herbert R. Parker, two sons, Brian Parker and Brent Parker and his wife Cassandra, her father, Harold Gallman and his wife Gail, two brothers, Jacky Gallman and his wife Sherry and Ronnie Gallman and his wife Linda, two sisters, Sharon Miller and her husband Tony; Karen Muse and her husband Ronnie all of Calhoun, three grandchildren, Jacob Parker, Jared Parker, and Tristan Parker.A specical friend, Deborah Scott along with several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday June 6th at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Conner and Rev. Larry Hibberts officiating burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Garden with Rev. Randy Davis in charge of graveside rites. Music will be arranged by Cassandra Parker, Donna Gay, Megan Stephens, and Mandy Robertson. Pallbearers serving include, Robert Miller, Joey Muse, Kenny Gallman, Jason Gallman, Alan Gallman, and Jamie Phillips. Kroger employees and friends will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
