Debbie Sue Stuart, age 55 of Rome, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 in Polk Medical Center.
Debbie was born on November 3, 1958 in Floyd County. She was the daughter of the late Echols Richard Kiker and Carolyn Welcher Kiker. Debbie was a member of the Shannon Church of God. She loved keeping babies and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James “Larry” Stuart.
She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Rogers and her husband Justin of Scottsville, and Belinda Smith and her husband Kacee Smith of Adairsville; two brothers, David Clark of Rome, and Fred Clark and his wife Gail of Rome; one sister, Teri Aldana of Rome; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Johnny Jacks of Scottsville; special aunt, Mary Kiser of Piedmont, AL; grandchildren, Amberly Dortch, Addison Dortch, and Kacedon Smith; special niece, Teryn Jarrett; and several additional nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 20th at 1:00PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend William Ford officiating. Interment will follow in Morning View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the funeral from 11:00 – 1:00PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
