DeAnna Marie Wright

Thursday, September 11, 2008 De Anna Marie Touchstone Wright, age 68 of Calhoun died Wednesday evening, September 10th. in Redmond Regional Medical Center of Rome. Mrs. Wright was born in Floyd County, Ga. on March 23rd, 1940 daughter of Vivian Lucille Wade Touchstone and the late George W. Touchstone. She was formerly employed at Georgia Tufters; was a member of the Georgia Mountain Music Club; and the South Calhoun Baptist Church. De Anna is survived by her mother, Vivian Touchstone of Rome; one son, James Greg Wright of Adairsville; one daughter, Kathy Marie Wright of Calhoun; three brothers, Buddy Touchstone and Tommy Touchstone both of Armuchee; and Billy Touchstone of Rome; two grandchildren, Christee Dodd and her husband Wes, Selena Williams and her husband Dale; six great grandchildren, Heath and Savanna Hufstetler, Austin and Cortney Williams, Drew Davis, and Connor Wright. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 12 at the South Calhoun Baptist Church with the Reverend Tony Hall officiating. Clifford Free will have charge of music and burial will be in Fain Cemetery. The body of Mrs. Wright will lie instate from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church preceding the funeral. Pallbearers are John O’Neal, Jr., Billy Johnson, Duane Bohannon, Wayne Brown, Kent Thomas, and Billy Hamilton. They are asked to meet at the church at 9:45 AM, Friday.
