David Parker

David Parker, age 59 of Adairsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. David was born on December 24, 1960 in Gordon County to the late John Dorsey Parker and Betty Harlene Quinn Parker. He loved playing golf, watching UGA Football, working at Mohawk, tinkering around the house, but above all he loved his family. His smile, laugh, and helpful heart will be missed by everyone. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Stacey Parker of Adairsville; son, Dustin Autry of Covington; daughter, Emily Parker of Adairsville; brothers, Randy Parker and his wife Melody of Calhoun, Gary Parker and his wife Kelly of Calhoun; nieces, Miranda Parker Pass of Calhoun, Natalie Parker of Calhoun; nephews, Derek Parker of Calhoun, and Tucker Roach and his wife Rachel of Tunnel Hill. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Gary Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery with Derek Parker, Roger Bearden, Doyle Clark, Larry Grisham, Chris Colston, and Ty McClure serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Tucker Roach, Jim Coble, Rusty Gwin, Jeremy Pasley, Paul Brackin, and Ben Brackin.
