David Harrison Barnes

David Harrison Barnes, age 65 of McDonough, GA, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022.

David was born on March 22, 1957 in Fulton County, GA, son of the late William Harrison Barnes and Mary Ruth Quinn Barnes. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mike Payne. David was a veteran of the United States Army. His family attended Crane Eater Community Church and was retired by TSA where he worked in security.

David is survived by: his sister, Nina Barnes Payne; one nephew, Micah Payne and his wife Brandy; one great-niece, Emma Payne; and two great-nephews, Jeremiah Payne and Noah Payne.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 10 AM until 11 AM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Howard Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Crane Eater Cemetery.
