Darrell Ray

Friday, December 21, 2007 Mr. Darrell Ray, age 59, of Calhoun. Died suddenly Friday morning at 2:50AM in the Redmond Regional Hospital. Darrell was born in Gordon County December 11, 1948. Son of the late Carmen Ellis and Annie Mae Bagley Ray Nicholson. He was a life long resident of Gordon County who loved his family and friends , he enjoyed bowling and especially fishing. Darrell was a member of the East Gate Baptist Church. Survivors include his sister in law, Sandra Malone. Nephews, Tony Ray, Carmen Ray, and Michael Ray. His Niece Shelia Watkins. As well as a number of great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday December 23rd at 2PM from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Frank Laster officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 3PM Saturday afternoon.
