Danny Eugene Wright

 Danny Eugene Wright, age 76 of Resaca, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee following eight weeks of declining health.

 Danny was born on February 25, 1948, the son of the late Blaine Wright and Irene Page Wright. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Wright mother of his daughter, and Mable Wright mother of his son, step-mother Helen Wright, step-father Claude Page, and his sister Kathy Rittenhouse.

 Prior to his retirement he was employed for 46 years by J & J Industries of Dalton. He was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was proud of his service. 

 Survivors include a daughter Angie Renae McCullough and son Danny Wright, Jr. He is also survived by brothers Larry and Diane Wright, Steve and Angie Wright, Greg Wright, and Ken and Rosanne Page, and a sister Remona Diane Brown. Grandkids and Great-Grandkids also survive along with nieces and nephews.

 The family will receive friends on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 10 AM until 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

 Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Drew Elrod officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens.

 Pallbearers serving will include Chad Wright, Thomas Butler, Nate Nation, Jarrett Ables, James Muse, and Tony Rogers.

 The family would like to thank Advent Health Redmond Hospital and Erlanger Hospital for the care shown during his illness.
