Danny Walraven

Monday, October 22, 2007 Mr. Danny Walraven age 61 of 106 Horizon Hills Dr. S.E. Calhoun, died Sunday October 21, 2007 in Redmond Regional Medical Center following several months of declining health. Danny was born in Gordon County on October 4, 1946 son of the late Claude Lamar and Clara Dell Ferguson Walraven and had been a lifelong resident. He was employed in the textile industry, was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army, was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Survivors include two sons; Resinald Walraven of Calhoun and Colby Walraven of Kennesaw, two brothers; Tony Walraven of Resaca and Michael Walraven of Calhoun. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday October 24th. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Parham Hammontree officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday October 23.
