Danny Ray Mathews

Mr. Danny Ray Mathews, age 58 of Adairsville, passed away Saturday February 15th at his residence. Danny was born May 10th, 1955 in Tampa, Florida and was of the Baptist faith. Danny is preceded in death by his mother Annie Mae Henderson and grandparents Alvin and Maggie Mathews. Survivors include his daughter Julie Loveless and her husband Mark of Rome, GA; three sons, Gary Mathews of Rome, GA, Danny Walter Mathews and Jeffery Mulkey of Calhoun, GA; one sister, Teresa Mulkey and her husband Jackie of Adairsville, GA; cousin and caregiver, Allen Mathews of Adairsville, GA; he is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday February 18th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Cary Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Monday February 17th, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers serving include: Ronnie Mulkey, Randy Mulkey Sr., Randy Tucker, Jackie Henderson, Randy Mulkey Jr., and Danny Young. They are asked to be at the funeral home by 1:45 on Tuesday February 18th, 2014.
