Danny DeFoor

Danny DeFoor, Sr., age 58 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at his residence. Danny was born on January 24, 1958 in Whitfield County to the late Robert Paul DeFoor and Robbie Lee Wheat DeFoor. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Whitfield County. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, David DeFoor. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Trina DeFoor of Dallas, GA; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Larry and Debra DeFoor of Gordon County, Thomas and Ellie DeFoor of Gordon County, Robert and Connie DeFoor of Whitfield County, Jimmy and Debbie DeFoor of Bartow County, and Jerry DeFoor of Bartow County; sister, Geneva Wolf of Whitfield County; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 30th at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Brother Lamar Hand officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Whitfield County, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
