Danny Fred Davis

Tuesday, August 18, 2009 Mr. Danny Fred Davis age 61 of Cedar Hill Drive, Calhoun, died Monday evening in the Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. Danny was born in Rogersville, Tn. on Feb. 21, 1948 son of the late Fred and Mary Johnson Davis. He had lived in Calhoun for a number of years where he worked at OMC for 15 years and was the owner operator of the Resaca Auto Repair. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife Sue Davis of Calhoun, three sons ; Danny Davis and his wife Rebecca of Oneida, Tn., Cody Mulkey serving with the National Guard in Afghanistan, Scott Barton and his wife Telena of Cartersville, one daughter; Lisa Smith and her husband Keith of Calhoun, two brothers; Bobby Davis of Florida and Larry (Skip) Davis of Kingsport, Tn. Grandchildren include Letisha, Danny ,Bradley Dakota Davis, Justin and Tabby Dooley and Josh and Aslan Dooley, Garrett and Gavin Smith, and great-grandchildren. Gage Bohannon and Naomi Davis. A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Thomas Funeral Home. There will be no funeral services.
