Daniel Marvin "Ben" Bentley

Daniel Marvin “Ben” Bentley, age 68 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Ben was born on December 14, 1952 in Greer, SC, son of the late Marvin Bentley and Sarah Elizabeth Campbell Bentley. In addition to his parents, Ben was also preceded in death by: his wife, Sue Castle Bentley; one sister, Susan Bentley Barton; and his step-mother, Dot Bennett Bentley. Prior to his retirement, Ben was employed by Field Dale Poultry as a truck driver.

Ben is survived by: brother, Bryan Bentley and his wife Eugenia of Greer, SC; two sisters, Kathy Flynn and her husband Mike of Greer, SC and Karen Wheeler and her husband Terry of Calhoun, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

The family will also receive friends on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 3 PM until 5 PM at Wood Mortuary in Greer, SC.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 2 PM at Hill Crest Cemetery in Greer, SC.
