Curtis Craig, age 61 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Curtis was born on October 30, 1954 in Fairmount, GA to the late Reverend Frank Andrew Craig and Willie Marquett Anderson Craig. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Craig; and sister, Annie Ruth Thacker. Curtis worked for the City of Calhoun for 27 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Craig of Calhoun; brother, Charles Craig and his wife Peggy; and sister, Faye Mashburn and her husband Max; mother-in-law, Shirley Wade; sister-in-law, Pam Bennett and her husband Roy; and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, August 5th at 11 AM at Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Herring officiating. Bob Daniels and Donna Looney will have charge of music. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Drew Craig, Steve Cochran, David Pass, Edward Owens, Kenny Padgett, Johnny Martin, Bruce Kelly and Neal Russell. Honorary pallbearers will be Don McGinnis, Joey Moore and Judy Craig.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
