Cordelia Kinsey Pierce

Cordelia Kinsey Pierce, age 89, of Calhoun. Died Saturday November 12th at her residence. Cordelia was born March 6, 1922 in Gordon County. Daughter of the late Fain and Bessie Martin Kinsey. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Pierce. Survivors include, three sons, Terry Pierce and his wife Karen of Calhoun, Larry Pierce and his wife Ellen of Plainville, and David Pierce and his wife Tina of Calhoun. Three daughters, Mary Jane Moore , Frances Pierce, and Barbara Hensley all of Calhoun. Twenty-one grandchildren, Twenty-five great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter also survives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday November 15th at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Everett Miley officiating. Burial will follow in the Curryville Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, T.J. Maddox, Chris Baldridge, Vickie Baldridge, Jeff Shaw, Terry and Karen Pierce. Grandchildren will serve as honorary Pallbearers.
