Claude Russell Middleton

Claude Russell Middleton, age 80 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at AdventHealth Gordon.

Claude was born on October 23, 1940 in Floyd County, GA to the late Thomas Vince Middleton and Mamie Simmons Middleton. Prior to his retirement, Claude was employed by Astro-Dye. In addition to his parents, Claude was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Shirley Caldwell.

Claude is survived by: his wife, Ruth Caldwell Middleton; one son, Alex Middleton; two daughters, Angela Burnett and Katrina Nealey; three brothers, Harvey Middleton, Bobbie Middleton, and Ned “N.F.” Middleton; one sister-in-law, Doris Hines; six grandchildren, Jasmine Middleton, Robin Middleton, Alex Middleton, JR, Cera Fegan, Michael Burnett, and Westley Burnett; and one great-grandchild, Malachi Fegan.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2 PM at Mountain View Cemetery in Rome, GA with Calvin Caldwell officiating.
