Claude E. Allen

Claude E. Allen, age 78 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, October 17 at Gordon Hospital. Claude was born September 26, 1937 in Gordon County, son of the late James Edward Allen and Leah Owens Allen. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from Lockheed –Martin after 32 years of service. He had a servant’s heart and loved to serve and help people. Claude was a member of Fresh Manna Covenant Ministry. Survivors include his wife, Rickie, two sons, Kirk Allen and his wife Shelley and Kevin Allen and his wife Brenda, one daughter, Kacee Jarrett and her husband Jason, two brothers, Clyde Allen and his wife Betty and Charley Allen and his wife Diane, two sisters, Hazel Jackson and her husband Riley and Laura Pass and her husband Gary. Seven grandchildren, Shawn Smith, Brandon Allen, Morgan Allen, Aaron Allen, Jay Allen, Jaylen Jarrett, and Paxton Jarrett. Four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be conducted Monday October 19th at 12 noon at Erwin Hill Church of God Cemetery with Rev. Billy Tatum officiating. Pallbearers serving will include, Kevin Allen, Kirk Allen, Jason Jarrett, Shaun Smith, Brandon Allen, Aaron Allen, Jay Allen, and Paxton Jarrett.
