Clarence E. Craig, age 54 of Ranger, passed away Friday January 3rd at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Clarence was born in Gilmer County January 10, 1959, son of Howard Craig and the late Irene Willis Craig. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Miracle Temple. Clarence was a devoted husband, father and loving Grandpaw to his seven grandchildren. Besides his mother he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Craig.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Vickie Craig of Ranger, two sons, Matthew Craig of Ellijay and Nathan Craig of Chatsworth, one daughter, Amy Craig Haynes of Ranger, four sisters, Shirley Franklin of Ranger, Diane Bartley of Chatsworth, Brenda Craig of Dalton, and Joyce Bright of Oneida, TN, seven grandchildren; Joshua Craig, Selena Craig, Justin Gravitt, Kiara Haynes, Azaree Craig, Shanna Craig, and Conner Craig. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 2pm Wednesday January 8, at the Miracle Temple with Rev. Jeff Hendrix officiating.
Family will receive friends at the church Wednesday January 8, 2014 from 10am until 2pm.
