Cindy Renee Fountain Dupree

Cindy Renee Fountain Dupree, age 44 of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC. Cindy was born on September 10, 1971 in Cobb County, GA to Marsha Jean Sheffield Byess and the late Stanley Odell Fountain. She was a member of Crane Eater Community Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Preston and Bertha Dupree; and step-brother, Harold Byess. Survivors include her husband, Joel Dupree of Gordon County; mother and step-father, Jean and Bill Byess; four daughters, Brandy Pass and her husband Cody, Kayla Kent, Heather Jackson and her husband Daniel, and Tamra Dupree; sister, Christy Pettway; two step-brothers, Mike Byess and Joe Byess; step-sister, Sherri Hilton; and granddaughter, Stella Fay Jackson. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, February 11th at 2:00 PM at Crane Eater Community Church with Reverend Mike Byess, Reverend Sanford Fountain and Reverend Howard Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 10 AM at Thomas Funeral Home.
