Christopher Michael “Chris” Pack, age 50, of Ranger, passed away Friday, June 16th at Atrium Health Floyd.
Chris was born April 23, 1973, in Whitfield County, son of Nancy Padgett Pack and the late J.L. “Bud” Pack. He was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church and was employed by Calhoun Plastics. Chris loved gardening, the outdoors, and camping. He was a avid NASCAR fan and was a master welder.
Survivors include his mother, Nancy Ann Pack of Ranger; his sister, Angie Bettis of Ranger; one daughter, Brittany Hodge and her husband Alex; his pride and joy, his granddaughter, Presleigh Hollier. One niece, Kinsey Bettis also survives.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 18th, from 3pm until 5pm at Thomas Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, June 19th at 11am at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Michael Yancey officiating. Pallbearers include Hunter McCurdy, Michael McCurdy, Mitchell McCurdy, James Bingham, Keith Green, and Tim Fortenberry.
