Christopher John Henderson

Christopher John Henderson, age 35 of Millinocket, ME, was carried away by the angels on Monday evening, November 8, 2021 at OSU Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.

Chris was born on September 22, 1986 in Dalton, GA, son of Belinda Mitchell Henderson and Scotty Henderson.

He received his Bachelors in Science at Dalton State College in Dalton, GA and his Masters in Nursing at George State University in Athens, GA, both of which he graduated with honors. He succeeded in all he did and put his mind to. He learned to pilot small aircrafts by his grandfather, Larry, who teaches aviation in northern Georgia. Chris was a dual citizen in England and the United States. He lived in New Market, Suffolk England for several years during childhood and finished school in the United States and remained here since.

Chris is survived by: his spouse, Jacob Wilder of Van Wert, OH; his father, Scotty Henderson of Ranger, GA; his mother, Belinda Mitchell Henderson of New Market, England; sister, Kayla (Andy) McCalster of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Bobby (Lindsey) Henderson of New Market, England; grandparents, Larry Joe (Louise) Henderson of Ranger, GA; uncle, Jerry Henderson of Calhoun; and aunt, Lisa King of Ranger, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 12 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Van Wert, OH with Pastor Chris Farmer officiating.
