Christopher Hull Brooks

Christopher Hull Brooks, age 54 of Franklin, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 1st in Erlanger Hospital of Chattanooga. Christopher was born in Langdale, Alabama on March 13, 1960 to the late Gene Brooks and Hazel Hull Brooks. He had worked as the warehouse manager for Action Electric Company. He was an avid fisherman, and loved to camp and hunt. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Brooks of Franklin; one son Justin Thomas of Calhoun; one daughter, Haley Owenby and her husband Josh of Calhoun; two sisters, Toni Johnston and her husband Terry of Dothan, Alabama, Terry Carroll and her husband Ray of Villanow; and five grandchildren and his baby girl “ALA”. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 3 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Brent Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Grant Thomas, Josh Owenby, Trent Kiniry, Shawn Kiniry, Shannon Johnston, and Wesley Willis. They are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:45 AM, Monday. The Brooks family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
