Christina Leigh Black

Christina Leigh Black, age 35, of Calhoun, passed away in the Erlanger Medical Center. Christina was born January 27, 1982 in Whitfield County, daughter of Tim Black and Cindy Lambert. She was employed in the textile industry and was a graduate of Calhoun High School. She was preceded in death by her step-brother, Britt Barnette. She is survived by her mother; Cindy Lambert of Calhoun, her father; Tim Black of Nickelsville, one son; Jeric Lewis of Calhoun, and one brother; Canyon Black of Nickelsville. Uncles, aunts, and a number of cousins also survive. A celebration of life will be conducted Thursday, November 30th at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Benham officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 12pm until 2pm at the funeral home.
