Charlotte Christine Haney

Monday, June 16, 2008 Mrs. Charlotte Christine Haney age 75 of 101 Dorsey St., Calhoun, died Sunday June 15th. at her residence following several weeks of declining health. Mrs. Haney was born in Summerville, Ga. in May 5, 1933 daughter of the late Clarence and Jewel McCollum Brookshire . She had been a resident of Calhoun for the past 5 years and was employed by K-Mart. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son ; Ricky Bates, a brother; Homer Brookshire and a sister; Bernice Sinyard. Survivors include her husband Cecil L. Haney of Calhoun, one son Malcom Clay Evans of Knoxville, Tn., three daughters; Robbie Allen of Knoxville, Tn., Loretta Dover of Glenco , Ky, and Judy Gibbs of Orman Beach , Fl, one brother; Leroy Brookshire of Rockmart, along with 17 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Graveside and interment services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Monday June 16th. from the Cassville Cemetery in Cassville, Ga. with Dennis Dover officiating..
