Charles Claiborn Robinson

Saturday, April 07, 2007 Mr. Charles Claiborn (Clay) Robinson Sr., age 89 formerly of Gordon County, now living in Decatur, Alabama, died Monday April 2nd. in Parkway General Hospital in Decatur. Mr. Robinson was born in Gordon County on July 18, 1917 son of the late William Claude Robinson and Gussie Fuller Robinson. He was a retired retail Auto Tire Salesman. Survivors include two sons: Harry Robinson of Alpharetta, Ga. and Charles Robinson Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., one daughter; Donna Wilkes of Warm Springs, Ga. and two sisters; Doris Wood of Rex, Ga. and Willene Robinson of Forest Park , Ga. Local survivors include Marjean McDearis and Ronald Robinson. Graveside and interment services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 7th. from the Harmony Church Cemetery in Calhoun.
