Charles H. Harris

Charles H. Harris, age 73 of Plainville, passed away on Saturday, October 1^st at Gordon Health and Rehabilitation.

Charles was born on April 21, 1949, in Dalton, Georgia to the late Roy Harris, Jr., and Betty Moore Harris. He attended Plainville Church of God of Prophecy. Charles had served in the United States Army. After his military career he was a truck driver; finishing his career at Northwest Georgia Paving. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Ricky Harris.

He is survived by a daughter, Laurie Fowler and her husband Thomas; three grandchildren, Alex Lacey, Vicky Lacey, and Joey Lacey; siblings, Bobby Harris, and Linda Carey; several nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 3^rd at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Craig Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Scott Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are as follows: Tim Harris, Duane Harris, Daniel Young, Cody Derosier, Andrew Franklin, and Michael Crawford.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2^nd at Thomas Funeral Home from 5PM until 8PM.
