Charles Farmer, age 59, of Calhoun, passed away Sunday February 16th at his residence.
Charles was born March 3, 1954 in Adairsville, Georgia, son of the late Herman and Martha Farmer, he was employed by H&M Electrical as a electrical contractor and in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father in law, French “Buck” Dover.
He is survived by his wife, Cherrie Farmer, his mother in law, Clara Dover, sister in law, Christa Mitchell, one niece, Cheri Mitchell all of Calhoun, two nephews Tommy Prater and his wife Abby of St. Louis, Missouri; David Prater of Calhoun and his wife Ashley of Calhoun; great niece and nephews, Isabella Prater, Charlie Prater, and Conner Prater.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday February 19th at 2pm at the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hibberts officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery with Claude Allen, Jimmy Bennett, Blake Bennett, and Brett Bennett serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 8pm.
