Charles Andrew "Andy" DeSha

Charles Andrew "Andy" DeSha, age 34, of Resaca. Died Sunday May 1st at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Andy was born October 7, 1976 in Gordon County. Son of Brenda Gail Causby Long and the late Charles Edward DeSha. He was a member of Hall Memorial Baptist Church and had attended Gordon Central High School. He was employed by Brown Industries prior to his death. Survivors include his mother, Brenda Causby Long and his step-father, Clarence Long both of Resaca. One daughter, Abby DeSha of Resaca. Three sisters; Cindy DeSha Tumblin of Ringgold, Anita DeSha Vines of Dalton, and Becky DeSha Cox of Jacksonville, Al.. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday May 4th at 3pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Scott Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2pm Wednesday until the funeral hour at the chapel.
