Catherine Pauline Faith Thomas

Catherine Pauline Faith Thomas, age 90 of Calhoun, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Catherine was born on November 8, 1932, in Floyd County to the late Earl Faith and Bessie Wilson Faith. She was a devoted member of Mt. Pleasant United Method Church. Catherine made homemade biscuits for Allen's Grocery for 18 years, she was an avid rose gardener and loved her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Thomas; son-in-law, Jackie Lowery; and grandson, J.D. Wilson.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam Thomas Lowery, Tammy Thomas Wilson; one son, Mike Thomas  and his wife Gloria; grandchildren, Tamara Szabo, Meagan Lowery Blalock, Dana Dyer, Erik Thomas, and Jamie Wilson; nine great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 20^th at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Timms and Alan Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Erik Thomas, Chris Dyer, Chance Dyer, Cody Blalock, Mark Mullinax, and Chris Schwartz. Honorary pallbearers serving are Randy Erwin, Danny Erwin, Timmy Erwin, Ruben Allen, Tommy White, Eddie Thomas, Glenn Faith, Freddie Faith, Kent French, Phil French, Mark Wright, Ron Lee, JH Chapman, and Johnnie Frix.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19^th from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
