Carole Lynn Culberson Baker

Carole Lynn Culberson Baker, age 77 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at her residence.

Carole was born on June 2, 1946 in Floyd County, GA, the daughter of the late Lelton Culberson and Allee Hall Culberson. She was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 1964 and a devoted member. Carole started her banking career with Calhoun First National Bank, which later became BB&T, where she retired after 25 years of service. She enjoyed traveling to watch car shows with her husband, Wilton. Carole loved her children and grandchildren.

Carole is survived by: her husband of 57 years, Wilton Lee Baker, Jr.; two children, Eric (Evette) Baker and Dawn (Gregg) Kemp; and grandchildren, Jacob Baker, Olivia Baker, Macy Kemp, and Jack Kemp.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 2 PM until 4 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carole may be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
