Carol Moore Cagle

Carol Moore Cagle, age 78 of Plainville, GA, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at her residence. Carol was born on December 15, 1940 in Plainville to the late Edgar T. Moore and Cullie Blankenship Moore. In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by: her six siblings, Junior Moore, Lex Moore, J.W. Moore, Pat Moore, Shirley Rudisill, and Doug Moore; and three nephews, Rex Moore, Lynn Moore, and Jones Rudisill. Carol was a lifetime resident of Gordon County and prior to her retirement was a hairdresser for The Cutting Edge, Phylla-Ronda Beauty Shop, and Riverwood Retirement Center. She was a member of Meadowdale Baptist Church. Carol is survived by: her husband, Philip T. Cagle; two daughters, Rhonda Knight and her husband David, and Phyllis Hufstetler and her husband Jerry; two grandchildren, Brandon Knight and his wife Jeni, and Neal Hufstetler and his wife Morgan; three great-grandchildren, Sulli, Jasper, and Emery Knight; and two special sisters-in-law, Annie Ruth Moore and Marguerite Moore. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 2nd at 6 PM at Meadowdale Baptist Church with Pastor Jeremy Kirby officiating. Harry House will have charge of music. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are: Randy Moore, Tony Moore, Brandon Hufstetler, William Hufstetler, Chris Smith, and James Kelly Scott. Honorary Pallbearers are: Danny Paris, David Goforth, and Gordon County Antique Engine and Tractor Club members. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 PM until the funeral hour at 6 PM at Meadowdale Baptist Church.
