Bunnie Mae Evans Fite

Bunnie Mae Evans Fite, age 84, of Calhoun. Died Saturday morning July 17th at Gordon Health Care. Bunnie was born in Floyd County July 15, 1926. Daughter of the late Rush and Rosie Lee Adams Evans. She attended Oostanaula High School and was a member of the Newtown Baptist Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death her husband Troy Fite and her infant sister, Eula Mae Evans. Survivors include two Daughters; Diane Bagley and her husband Jerry of Adairsville and Karen Gentry and her husband Larry of Dalton. Four sons; Richard Fite and his wife Carolyn of Adairsville, Anthony Fite and his wife Hazel , Danny Fite and his wife Jane Ellen, and Steven Fite and Jill Underwood all of Calhoun. Eleven grandchildren; Russell Fite, Matthew Webb, Marlana Pack, Rachel Carter, Adam Fite, Rebecca Fite, Jon Bagley, Cameron Bagley, Alex Fite, Aaron Fite, and Tyler Gentry. Thirteen great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral service will be conducted Monday July 19th at 10AM from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Dr. Walter Hare officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 9PM.
