Buena Blanche Salmon Acree, age 94 of Calhoun, passed away Friday evening at Morning Point Assisted Living.
Buena was born October 22, 1917 in Plainville, GA. Daughter of the late Robert Salmon and Myrtle Floyd. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Calhoun First Baptist Church. Besides being a homemaker, Buena also worked at Teague’s Style Shop.
Survivors include: one son; Robin Acree and his wife Susan of Marietta, GA and three daughters; Carole Pierson, Loretta Harris and her husband Wayne, and Ellen Hunter and her husband Gary all of Calhoun, GA, seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren also survive.
A private funeral service for her will be held Monday June 25, 2012 from the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Ruddell and Derek Dickard officiating.
Pallbearers serving include: Allen Gravitt, Keith Gravitt, Dewayne Lummus, Trey Pierson, Bogin White, Ryan Acree, Todd Acree, and Brad Mikes.
