Brock Troupe, age 40, of Dalton and formerly of Calhoun, passed away Saturday February 11th at his residence.
Brock was born August 20, 1976 in Coffee County, Georgia, son of Jimmy C. Troupe and Dianne Hutto Troupe. He was the owner of Brock Poultry and attended Liberty Baptist Church on Tibbs Bridge Road in Dalton. Brock was an athlete who in high school played baseball and golf, he also loved to go to the gym and work out with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Talmadge Hutto, Lois Hutto, Sue Carol Hutto, and JT Troupe, his aunts; Teresa Hester, Yvonne Whitfield, Janice Parker and a uncle, Jerry Troupe.
Survivors include his wife; Julie Worley Troupe of Dalton, one son; Zeke Troupe of Dalton, one daughter; Morgan Troupe of Ambrose, his brother; Scott Troupe and his wife Kelly of Lavonia, mother in law; Carolyn Worley and father in law; Travis Worley, brother in law; Rodney Worley, and his nieces; Alix and Danielle Troupe. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday February 17th at 2pm from the Liberty Baptist Church of Dalton with Rev. Cliff Kirkland and Rev. Brian Branam officiating. Burial will follow in the United Memorial Garden.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home. Brock will lie in state on Friday from 11 AM until the funeral hour at 2 PM at Liberty Baptist Church of Dalton.
